Old Well Management was created to ensure University of North Carolina student-athletes are fairly compensated for their Name, Image and Likeness. As a result of supporting UNC Athletics and its student-athletes, Old Well will enhance community engagement by connecting student-athletes with the Tar Heel community and interested brands.

Tar Heels Can Support Old Well and UNC Student-Athletes in Several Ways:
  • Direct Contributions: Fans can make one-time or recurring contributions to Old Well. Old Well and the University are working to develop additional content and merchandise opportunities for fans who contribute on a recurring basis.
  • Advertising with Old Well: Brands and businesses can contract with Old Well to advertise with us directly. Through our agreements with UNC student-athletes, certain student-athletes will be available for use in cross-promotional opportunities with Old Well brand partners. There are opportunities for businesses to sponsor Old Well events during the year both as title and/or supplemental sponsors.
  • Advertising with Specific Student-Athletes: Brands and businesses can work with Old Well to engage directly with a specific UNC student-athlete. Old Well staff will help brands and businesses develop an advertising or marketing strategy that best fits their needs and decide which student-athlete(s) are best suited to assist in that endeavor. Old Well is can be flexible in its contract drafting to fit any legitimate business purpose of an interested brand or business.
  • Apparel and Events: Old Well is excited to bring a range of merchandise from Johnnie-O during this academic year that will be available for fans to purchase. There will also be opportunities for fans to purchase player-branded merchandise and apparel.
